Napoleonic Wars 1803-1815

The Napoleonic Wars raged from 1803 to 1815 with almost every European nation involved at one point. Huge armies clashed in battle with the balance of power shifting back and forth. The tides turned against Imperial France and in 1814 the defeated Emperor Napoleon was sent into exile.

In 1815, Napoleon returned to France, seized power and resurrected his Imperial army. Just a few months later, Napoleon led his soldiers into battle for the last time at Waterloo Belgium, where he was defeated.
